At FutureSkills Private High School, students have the option of attending as full-time or part-time students through our day school, night school and summer school programs. Our flexible part time schedule, which is offered six days a week, allows students to maximize their time and achieve the best possible results. Since our school year is semestered, students have the choice of enrolling for the entire year or for individual terms.  For those students who are looking to fast track or upgrade marks, our summer school courses are a great opportunity to complete up to four credits in two months.

In addition to our classes, our one-to-one tutoring sessions with qualified teaching staff are available seven days a week in a variety of subjects and provide students with customized lesson plans which are highly effective in upgrading students' marks and/or fast tracking in preparation for college and university. Computer training is also available for those who want to either learn basic computer skills or upgrade their knowledge to stay competitive in their field.

Fast Track Course:
For those students who need to finish a course sooner or are unable to attend the regular classes, Future Skills High School offers Fast Track courses. Fast track courses allow students to complete accredited high school credits from the comfort of their home. A fast track course is essentially a supervised self-study course.  The fast track students must arrange to see their teachers one on one, regularly, for no fewer than 10 sessions during the course.  Students are also encouraged to attend Future Skills’ regular classes as often as they can.   It is the student’s responsibility to study the curriculum based materials at home and find a tutor (at their own expense) if necessary.  The 10 one on one sessions with Future Skills’ teachers are intended for discussion, problem solving and evaluation.  The teacher evaluates the student’s progress through quizzes, chapter tests, unit tests, projects, assignments and a final exam.  These evaluations will be used towards the student’s final mark.  Upon successful completion of the Fast Track course, the student will be awarded one credit.

Co-op courses are also available for those students who want to explore a potential career in the field of their choice. These credits offer a unique experience and can be a valuable learning tool in assisting students with choosing a career path that is right for them and setting academic goals for themselves in order to achieve it.

FutureSkills High School has an extensive base of international students. We offer a range of ESL courses (ESLAO, ESLBO, ESLCO, ESLDO, ESLEO) which prepare our international students for their linguistic integration into the Canadian English speaking community. Being an accredited TOEFL test center, our international students have the convenience of both preparing for and taking their TOEFL exam at our institution. In order to help our international students improve their test-taking skills, FutureSkills offers both TOEFL preparation courses and private one-to-one tutoring. Student visa services are also available as required.

We also accept mature students and recognize that they may require a more flexible and independent style of learning. We recommend our fast tracking or online learning options so they have more time to fulfill their responsibilities to work and family.

FutureSkills High School understands that there is more to achieving an education than what is learned in textbooks. Forty volunteer hours are required to receive an OSSD, and FutureSkills works closely with our students to track their progress in this area. School trips and events are also organized throughout the year to keep our students aware of the world outside the classroom. These include outings to the Science Centre, the Scarborough Bluffs, the Imax Theatre, the University of Toronto and holiday parties to celebrate the cultural and religious diversity of our students.

Over 95% of our students go on to post-secondary education and gain admission to the institution of their choice whether it be college, university or apprenticeship programs. Students in the past have won numerous entrance scholarships and a select few, who have recieved outstanding academic excellence, have received the Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarship.

Our school is conveniently located on the North East corner of the intersection at Yonge and Finch directly outside the Finch Subway Station and Finch Bus Terminals. This provides our students with the possibility of commuting to our school via the TTC (Toronto Transit System), GO, YRT or VIVA buses.

For students interested in one-on-one tutoring, day credit courses, night credit courses, summer credit courses, e-learning, tutoring classes and TOEFL preparation/examination, FutureSkills Private High School offers students a flexible, convenient location and a dedicated teaching staff that will guide them on their way towards the completion of their OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) and prepare them for post-secondary education.

-"When I took this course in my regular school the teacher told me that it was hard and that I couldn’t do it, I took her words to heart and dropped the course. But at FutureSkills High School the teacher never made me feel like it was impossible, not only for me but for everyone." -Sheefal Raj, FutureSkills Student

FutureSkills gave me another chance to go to UNIVERSITY because I got good foundation from them. FutureSkills have the best teachers that they are willing to help according to your schedule; at Future Skills you have a real second chance. My classes had an average of 7 to 10 students which made it easy for my teachers to interact to everyone.
